4-Inch Backsplash vs. Full Wall

When we think of a backsplash, we generally think of the traditional 4-inch backsplash. Is there anything wrong with that? Of course not.

Today’s backsplash can still be a traditional 4-inch backsplash but you can have a very nice updated version of that instead of the rounded off top edge that we see in most homes.

Your backsplash can even be a completely separate piece and not molded with the countertop at all. It can even be squared off for a very modern look.

Want a really different look? Try using the squared off backsplash combined with a fully tiled or half tiled wall. 

Or, maybe you want to forgo the 4-inch splash altogether and go with a fully tiled wall. In this picture, you see where one of our customer has done just that. They chose a beautiful black and gold tile to go with their white custom cabinets and accented with gold cabinet hardware for a striking finish.

Going with a Corian Quartz countertop? You may want to consider bringing it up the wall for a truly customized look.
