Cultured Marble is one of the most popular choices today. Cultured Marble is cast in molds to create specific pieces, rather than cut from a quarry. The finished cultured marble product gets sealed with a gel coat. As a result, cultured marble is glossy in appearance with subtle, uniform veins and color. It is formed inside heated molds into vanity tops and shower surrounds. It is a less expensive, yet a sturdier alternative to natural marble.

Care and Maintenance of Cultured Marble Countertops

Routine Cleanups

For regular cleaning of cultured marble countertops, just wipe with a damp cloth and a nonabrasive liquid cleaner. Wipe dry and apply wax to keep the countertop shiny and make future cleaning easier.

Scratches

Minor surface scratches may be buffed out with a polishing compound.
